Okay, we’re in the last leg of the challenge. I hope you’re hydrated, your eyes are well rested, and your kiddos and you are ready to go for Week 7!
Here’s the activity for Week 7 of the Summer Story Challenge: You’ve Got Mail. Let’s get to it!
The summer has passed by quickly and I’m sure there are some memories you and your kids have treasured. Ask your kids to write a letter about their favorite summer memory and mail it to a loved one.
What you’ll need:
Little buddies
Pen and paper
Envelope
Postage stamp
Purpose:
Writing
Retelling your own story
Adapting by age:
If your baby has shown interest in something, write a note on their behalf and send it to a loved one (with pictures of your cutie of course!)
For toddlers, you’ll write a letter or postcard for them but have them tell you what to write. You may need to give them prompts and leading questions.
Please come back and share how it goes! How did your kids enjoy this challenge?
