Hope you all had a lovely August weekend! Before jumping into this week’s challenge, I’m updating the name of this series to the Summer Story Challenge because the more I think about it, the more apparent it is that these challenges are not just about the stories we read but also the ones we see and hear.
Here’s the activity for Week 5 of the Summer Story Challenge: PEOPLE WATCHING. Let’s get to it!
Next time you’re out and about with your kid (grocery store, park, bank, etc.), identify someone and concoct a tall tale about them with your kid. Work together to come up with an adventurous, humorous, or completely kooky story!
My 5 YO is going to love this. It goes well with our current "poop talk," where he poses questions like "Why does soap kill viruses" and we trade silly answers until he's done with his business.
Love, love, love this challenge. We used to do something similar with our kiddo to keep them entertained. Our challenges were things like "guess their job" or "what is their spy name?"
Thank you so much! Yes, I love playing this game too. It's so much fun and unexpectedly delightful :). Bookmarking the "What is their spy name?" Love that question!

I love these questions! What a great way to pass toilet time 😂
