Oh the library play kit is an especially good idea! Definitely getting this for my daughter (she uses scotch tape to attach “library slips” to her book pages when she plays library and I shudder a tiny bit😂)
Reference books are definitely not boring! And I second the tip about Costco. I was there a couple days ago and they are in full holiday mode, with two extra sections worth of reference and other gift-able books. (I also think their prices are decent.)
I'm glad we're on the same page about reference books :D Maybe it's the magic of Costco but when their book table appears during holiday season there's no way I can resist walking out without a book (or 4) in my cart.
I’ve inherited a dozen new nephews and nieces since I moved to the south. A book subscription is a great idea. I’m just remembering my mother use to have one for me - the Highlights!
